The True Blue Society is a brotherhood of alumni and undergraduates, of all ages, who choose to continue to take advantage of their Phi Delta Theta membership long after their college years. They include scores of successful men from every walk of life who have added distinction to themselves and Phi Delta Theta by joining the True Blue Society.
True Blue Society embodies the success, character, allegiance and deep sense of integrity that we all command of ourselves and our families. Your membership will help preserve the traditions of excellence associated with Phi Delt and will serve as an example of pride and dedication for future generations of Phis. The True Blue Society is perhaps the best way for Brothers to take part in the enduring spirit and tradition of Phi Delta Theta.
True Blue membership comes with no meetings to fit into your hectic schedule, but with the promise of a renewed sense of purpose in Phi Delta Theta. There is a lifetime commitment that we, as Phi Delts, talked about in our undergraduate days. Let the strength of your example serve as guide for other Brothers and generations of future Phi Delta Theta Brothers to come.
The Scroll: An Enhanced Magazine for a Brighter Future.
The True Blue Society was established to guarantee the future success of Phi Delta Theta. In addition to using membership fees to enhance and support services for alumni and volunteer programming, the True Blue Society fees will be used to curb the inflation of printing costs, with part of the revenue being invested in the Mitchell Fund, an endowment fund for the perpetuation and enhancement of The Scroll.
In June 2008, a new, exciting version of The Scroll debuted. The Scroll will then continue to be sent to all members until the Summer 2010 issue. At that point, Phi Delta Theta members will only receive printed issues of The Scroll if the member has joined the True Blue Society, is a collegian, or chooses to pay an annual magazine subscription. However, all members will still maintain their lifetime subscription by viewing The Scroll online. True Blue Society Members will receive a printed version of the magazine for the rest of their lives and will not need to remember to renew each year.
